Wedding films, honestly told.

Documentary-led wedding cinematography for couples who want the truth of their day kept beautifully.

No.01  /  The Studio

I don't stage moments. I listen for them.

A wedding film should feel like memory, not performance. Every frame I keep is one I believe you'll want to live inside ten, twenty, fifty years from now - when the linen has yellowed and the music's grown old.

So I work quietly. I notice the second your father's voice catches. The pause before the kiss. The half-second laugh that wasn't supposed to happen.

That's the film I make.

No.02  /  The Look

Cinema first.
Forever-quality second.

I shoot on cinema cameras with prime glass, color in a film-emulation pipeline, and edit to music I'd actually listen to. The end result is a film with the texture and patience of cinema - not a wedding video.

  • /Cinema-grade Canon & ARRI workflows
  • /Custom film-emulation color grading
  • /Licensed music your couple actually loves
  • /Delivered in cinema 4K & vertical edits

No.06  /  Behind the Camera

Hello, I'm Wesley.

I started Blalock Film Co. in the summer of 2017 because I wanted to make wedding films that didn't feel like wedding videos.

My background is in documentary filmmaking. That's still how I shoot - patient, observational, looking for the moments couples will want to revisit when their kids are old enough to ask what was it like?

If that sounds like the kind of film you're hoping for, I'd love to hear about your day.

No.07  /  Kind Words

"I've watched our film at least fifty times now. Every time, I notice another small thing - a look from my dad, a hand on my shoulder. Wesley made a record of who we were that day, not just what we did."
