Don't direct what's already happening.
The best moments at a wedding rarely happen on cue. My job is to be present enough to see them, and quiet enough not to interrupt them.
About the Studio
Blalock Film Co. is a one-cinematographer studio. The person you meet at your inquiry call is the person behind the camera on your wedding day.

Blalock Film Co. began in the summer of 2017 as a passion for storytelling through film. What started there quickly evolved into a dedication to capturing weddings in a way that feels honest, emotional, and timeless.
With a background rooted in documentary-style filmmaking and cinematic visuals, I approach each wedding with a focus on real moments over staged perfection. Every film is crafted to preserve not only how the day looked, but how it truly felt - from the quiet in-between moments to the energy of the celebration.
Inspired by vintage cinema, natural emotion, and meaningful storytelling, I work to blend modern cinematic techniques with a timeless approach, so every film is one couples can revisit for a lifetime.
Outside of weddings, I'm at home in Texas with my wife, Chrisa, and our daughter, Lennon. If you've read this far, thank you. I'd love to hear your story.

A wedding film should have rhythm, restraint, and a point of view. Anything less is just footage with music.

I make films you'll want to watch in twenty years - color graded with a long view, scored with restraint, and delivered in formats that won't go obsolete.
